We’re building a new category of gemological infrastructure: the autonomous lab.
AGIx combines precision sensors, computer vision and AI into a single self-contained machine that analyzes and certifies jewelry and diamonds in about three minutes, with no gemologist on site.
Our first AGIx pilot lab is running in Ramat Gan, minutes from the Israel Diamond Exchange, and we are validating it with real pieces from working dealers.
We’re a team built from the diamond trade and from engineering. We know the bourse, the buyers and the bottlenecks, and we’re building the machine we always wanted to exist.
Designing a New Standard for Certification
Traditional grading labs depend on scarce experts, long queues and manual handling. AGIx replaces that with an interlocked sensor sequence that runs the same way every time, on every piece. Two breakthroughs make this possible:
Multi-Sensor AI Fusion
No single test can be trusted alone. AGIx fires its sensors in a fixed sequence: a 0.01g precision scale, a 360° macro camera that captures 36 frames per piece, and an eddy-current conductivity sensor that reads the metal without touching it.
Our AI cross-checks every signal against the others, combining density, color and conductivity into one karat estimate. When the sensors agree, the result is high-confidence. When they disagree, the piece is flagged, not guessed.
Lab-Grown Detection in a Sealed Chamber
Inside a fully enclosed steel chamber, AGIx exposes each stone to short-wave 254nm UV, then captures a dark frame to detect the afterglow that marks many lab-grown diamonds.
The process is automatic, contained and repeatable, so every customer gets the same screening at the counter that used to require a specialist lab.
From Drawer to Certificate
The client taps the screen, places the piece in the drawer, and the vault closes. Weighing, imaging, metal analysis and screening run automatically. Each 360° scan produces a unique digital fingerprint for the piece, results sync to the AGIx cloud for instant online verification, and a security-paper certificate prints from the front of the machine while the client waits.
Getting to Global Scale
AGIx is designed as a franchise unit: one square meter of floor space, one machine, no gemologist required. Jewelry stores, bourses and trading hubs can offer certification on the spot.
After Ramat Gan, we’re preparing deployments in Dubai and Antwerp, the world’s diamond capitals.
